1. Crew members operating the crane need to receive general safety training on crane operation before boarding. After boarding, targeted training should be provided by the supervising driver and engineer, including command gestures, arm limit/hook limit/middle position protection of the operating handle, and hook safety bolts to prevent detachment.
2. Before the loading and unloading workers responsible for operating the crane, experienced and familiar crew members on board should provide an introduction to the workers, including the crane arm limit/safety load/emergency stop button. It is recommended to post relevant key matters, including SWL, in the crane operation room.
3. Crew members should focus their attention when operating the crane; If the on duty driver discovers any unsuitable phenomenon among the loading and unloading workers operating the ship's crane, they should immediately stop the operation and report to the chief officer, who will coordinate with the foreman.

4. When loading and unloading goods, the driver on duty should supervise the handling methods of the dock workers, prohibit any illegal or barbaric operations, prevent the goods on the crane from swinging significantly, and avoid the collapse of the crane structure.
5. The supervising driver and marine engineer should revise and improve the maintenance plan according to the instructions, strictly implement and carry out regular inspections and maintenance work.
